Trip dates are visible, the creator went, and AI never counts as evidence.
Last checked 2026-09-11
Every published Brief has to come from a trip the creator actually took, and the dates of that trip are on the page. That is the whole basis of the site.
- Trip dates are shown on the Brief, not buried.
- Every required section must be filled in before it can publish.
- The failure log is required. A Brief with nothing that went wrong is a Brief nobody checked.
- AI can sort a creator's own notes and receipts into the right sections. It cannot supply a fact, and it cannot publish anything.
- A Brief that has not been checked in a long time shows a staleness warning.
Readers who have been somewhere can confirm a place. Those confirmations are dated and public, and they feed the ranking.
Conditions change. A Brief records what one person found on one set of dates. It is not a guarantee that a road, permit office or price is the same today.
