Refunds
The short version
Not what you needed? Refund any paid Field Brief within 7 days of buying it. One tap from your Purchases page, no reason needed.
What happens
The money goes back to your original card within 5 to 10 business days. Paid access ends when the refund completes and the Brief leaves your library. Free sections stay readable, same as they are for everyone.
Where to do it
Open Purchases in your settings, tap the three dots on the Brief, then Refund. Each Brief shows how long it stays refundable.
Subscriptions, tips, and calls
Subscriptions cancel at the end of the billing period rather than refunding mid cycle. Tips aren't refundable. Booked calls follow the cancellation policy shown when you book.
Limits
Readers who refund more than half their purchases, with at least three refunds, lose self-serve refunds. If that happens and you still need one, email us and we'll take a look.
For creators
Refunded Briefs show up in your Audience tab. The refund reverses your share of that sale automatically, so your payout numbers always reflect what readers kept.
