Pins are places somebody stood, not search results. Here is how to use them.

The map on a Brief is not a generic map of the area. Every pin was dropped by the creator at a spot they used: the office, the trailhead, the place the road stopped.
- Tap a pin to see what it is and the note attached to it.
- Pins are tied to sections. A permit office pin sits with Papers.
- The route line, when there is one, is the way they actually went, not the fastest suggestion.
- Pinch to zoom, two fingers to tilt. Double tap resets.
Maps need a connection. Screenshot the pins you need before you leave signal, and write the coordinates down.
