A reader pays once for one brief. Sections 01, 02, 06 and 08 stay free, the rest unlock at checkout.
A subscriber gets everything you publish while the subscription runs. Default is $5 a month or $50 a year, and you can change both.
Tips are free to use and available on every plan. No setup beyond connecting payouts.
Four steps, one afternoon
You need a Stripe account and an ID check. Stripe runs the check, not Realtrip.

Sign the creator agreement
Short, plain terms about what you publish and what happens on a refund.

Stripe asks for your legal name, address, bank details and an ID document.

Set your prices
Per brief, plus monthly and yearly subscription prices. Currency locks once someone subscribes.

Your storefront goes live at realtrip.app/@yourhandle and starts taking payments.
What Realtrip keeps
One percentage off each sale. Stripe charges its own processing fee on top, the same as anywhere else.
The same percentage applies to brief sales, subscriptions and tips. Nothing is deducted twice, and there is no listing fee or monthly minimum on the free plan.
Stripe pays you on its own schedule
Your first payout usually lands about a week after your first sale. After that it follows the schedule set on your Stripe account.
Money is held by Stripe, never by Realtrip. We cannot move it, pause it or reroute it.
The payouts screen shows sales, refunds and the current balance. If Stripe cannot refresh the balance, the page says so instead of showing a stale number.
Amounts are stored in minor units of your currency, so nothing is lost to rounding.
A refund takes the access back
When a refund goes through, the reader loses access to the paid sections and the sale comes off your balance.
Readers ask for refunds through Realtrip. Most requests are about information that turned out to be stale, which is why the last checked date sits at the top of every brief.
If a reader disputes a charge with their bank, Stripe handles the case and the amount is held until it closes. You get the evidence request in your email.
